Choosing a Color Palette
Here’s the top tip I always share with couples and families for choosing their photo outfits: think about colors! Earthy tones that aren’t too bright work great, especially for outdoor shots in Georgia. I always suggest avoiding super bold colors. Check out my Pinterest for more family photo outfit ideas!
Patterns or No Patterns?
I’m all about patterns, but remember: less is more! Usually, I recommend sticking to just one pattern, or at most two if they’re really subtle. Personally, I love it when a mom or daughter rocks a pretty floral print, or when dad wears a low-key plaid shirt.
Should I add an Outfit with Texture?
YES! Don’t forget about textures! Mixing it up adds depth and interest to your wardrobe. For example, Maegan played with different knits (both thin and chunky) and added in some corduroy. It really balanced out her silky dress and gave her outfit a nice touch.
