Despite the overcast autumn day in Georgia, the celebration of love between Hannah and Jon could not be deterred. The way that these two looked at each other throughout the day genuinely melted my heart. Anticipation had built up throughout the year since I captured their engagement photos, and finally, the moment arrived for their wedding at historic Kimball Hall in Roswell Georgia!

Becoming a photographer holds a special place in my heart, largely due to the meaningful connections I make with each couple. Learning about how they met, discovering their favorite ways to spend time together, and hearing about their admiration adds a personal touch to my work. When a genuine connection is established, the photos authentically capture a sense of comfort and ease.
I had the pleasure of building that connection with Hannah and Jon earlier in the year when we captured their beautiful lakeside engagement photos at Acworth lake. I learned about how close Hannah and Jon were before they started dating while working together at a local brewery. Witnessing the delightful playfulness between them, transitioning from being best friends to lifelong partners, their unique connection undeniably radiates through the captured moments.

If I am being truly honest, I definitely did a happy dance when I found out that I would be photographing Hannah and Jon’s wedding at Kimball Hall. This wedding venue is truly something else! From a restored 1800’s home to a stunning, timeless wedding venue; it’s truly one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Georgia.
Sentimental Moments Throughout Hannah and Jons Kimball Hall Wedding
The entire day dedicated to celebrating Hannah and Jon was incredibly special, filled with sentimental moments. Both Hannah and Jon were laid-back, prioritizing the celebration of each other over stressing about wedding timelines. Their trust in me as their photographer allowed me to capture genuine, unfiltered moments throughout the day.
Capturing Hannah and Jon’s personalities was an absolute blast, and it resulted in a day packed with memories that truly reflect who they are. Jon takes immense pride in his extensive bourbon collection, and as a fun touch, he had his groomsmen wear bourbon socks. On the other hand, Hannah, being a nurse, playfully did some push ups before her first look to give her arms a bit more definition. It was the cutest thing!
